Terms of Service

Claimind is a software tool. It is not:

  • A licensed public adjuster, or any licensed insurance adjuster
  • A law firm or an attorney providing legal advice
  • An insurance agent or an insurance company
  • A decision-maker on any claim

What Claimind is — and what it is not

Claimind is a software tool that helps people who work on insurance claims organize claim files, process and classify documents, extract information, and prepare documentation for their own review and use.

Claimind is built for property damage insurance claims — residential and commercial property. It is not designed for, and must not be used to store or process, protected health information (PHI) or medical claim data.

Claimind is used by different kinds of people who work on insurance claims — including roofing and other contractors, supplement writers, public adjusters, appraisers, umpires, attorneys, and their staff. Whatever your role, Claimind does not change it: it does not make you a licensed adjuster, and you act only within the license and authority you already hold.

Claimind is not a licensed public adjuster or any licensed insurance professional. It does not adjust claims, negotiate with carriers, or advise you on coverage, valuation, or settlement. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It does not make decisions on any claim.

You remain responsible for the work and the decision-maker. You are responsible for the accuracy of every claim, for complying with the licensing, registration, and insurance laws that apply to you in your jurisdiction, and for every decision you make using anything the platform produces. If your use of Claimind would require a license or role you do not hold, you must not use it that way.

AI Use Disclosure

Claimind uses AI to assist with document analysis, text extraction, data extraction, classification, and drafting suggestions.

Every AI output is a suggestion or extracted information — never a determination. AI does not decide coverage, approve or deny claims, set payment or settlement amounts, or give legal advice. A human must review AI output before it is used or relied on.

AI can make mistakes, including extracting a value incorrectly. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on. AI actions are logged for audit and compliance.

We do not permit AI providers to train on your content. Your documents and claim content are processed only to produce the results you ask for, under confidentiality terms.

Intellectual property, acceptable use, and liability

Claimind — including its software, workflows, AI prompts and methods, taxonomies, and interface — is the confidential property of Claimind and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or build a competing product from any part of it. Your claim data remains yours.

You must not use Claimind to generate fraudulent claim evidence, fabricate or alter damage reports, misrepresent a loss to a carrier, bypass regulatory or insurance processes, store or process protected health information or medical claim data, or do anything unlawful. Violations are grounds for account termination.

Claimind is not for health, medical, life, disability, or workers' compensation claims. Do not upload medical records. Claimind is not a HIPAA business associate and does not sign business associate agreements.

Claimind is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. You are the final decision-maker and are responsible for all claim decisions and outcomes.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll ask you to review and accept the new version the next time you sign in.
